I need help! Where can I get some help while working on preparing a Business Plan?
Don't overlook your personal support system you may be able to get assistance from your family, friends and support groups. Business consultants can help you, these may include: • Banker/financial planner: aware of low interest loans
• Small Business Administration (SBA)/SCORE Representative: provides information on training opportunities, technical support for business plans, research and marketing information, possible financial resources
• Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
• MicroCredit NH
• Your State's Economic Development Division
• Accountant: to assist in the set up for bookkeeping
• Attorney: to assist with the legal aspects of the business If you receive government benefits and need help getting information on how starting your own business may affect those benefits, get assistance from a Benefits Consultant such as • Social Security Representative – assists with developing PASS, monitor benefits and assure compliance
• HUD – Housing
• Insurance – medical needs
• IRS – guidance on tax information
• DOL Workers compensation
